Confluence of the Void

This striking piece is a mixed-media collage that juxtaposes sharp, geometric, graphic elements with organic, highly textured, painterly forms.

The central focal point is a vibrant, winding river of thick, impasto-like paint—flowing through hues of orange, white, yellow, purple, and blue—that cuts violently through the composition. This dynamic flow is bordered by stark, jagged white and grey textures that resemble frozen cliffs, marble, or coral reef.

Anchoring the left and right sides are two bold, gold circular elements that look like vinyl records with empty black voids, cymbals, or stylized eyes. The piece is heavily framed by flat, graphic cuts of white and black, alongside smaller "windows" of dense, floral-like textures in orange (bottom left) and deep blue (bottom right). The interplay between the rigid cutouts and the fluid, swirling paint creates a highly kinetic and dreamlike energy.
