The Architecture of Time

The Architecture of Time is a contemporary surreal artwork exploring the relationship between time, machinery and movement.
Large concentric clock faces dominate the composition, surrounded by intricate mechanical forms, suspended spheres and sweeping lines. A vivid burst of red radiates from the centre, creating the impression of energy escaping from within the machinery. Warm orange spheres punctuate the darker mechanical elements, bringing heat and contrast to the otherwise cool industrial palette.
The combination of precision and expressive splashes creates a tension between order and chaos. The clocks suggest structure, measurement and the relentless passing of time, while the scattered lines and explosive forms suggest moments that cannot be controlled.
The result is an imagined mechanical world where time feels less like something measured and more like something alive.
Somewhere between yesterday and tomorrow, time stopped behaving.
